  Patterson has a pool?!

  i just read this http://www.thejournalnews.com/apps/pbcs.dll/article?aid=/20051104/news04/511040390/1027/news11 and was suprised to learn there's an indoor pool up there.

  are there tennis courts, too?

  although they don't suspect the parasite of spreading to other pools, health department officials said as a precaution, they contacted the county's five other indoor swimming facilities green chimneys in patterson, carmel fitness and racquet club in carmel, jehovah's witnesses' watchtower educational center in patterson, arms acres in carmel and st. basil's academy in garrison to recommend that they superchlorinate their pools.

  Wow! This is unbelievable. I was working at the Brooklyn HQ during this time. I remember when Wischuck went through a phase where he seemed drained of energy. I think I just found out why. If I only knew what was going on behind the scenes. Of course I had no clue.

  The real eye opener here for me is that Franz got help from an unknown Jewish non-witness man. What the.....? I think there is a great chance that this mystery Jewish guy provided Franz with a lot of ideas for the doctrines of this religion. I highly doubt that this was a one time visitation. I'm willing to bet that this "consultation" was going on for a long time. This may explain why this is an extremely works-based religion (just like Judaism) which bases a lot of it's doctrines on the old testament. This could also explain why there is not much emphasis on Jesus within it's teachings for being a "Christian" religion. Franz came up with the backbone of this type of ideology.

  I always thought that there was some external authority beyond the GB that was controlling this organization. It always seemed fishy to me. I think this also adds weight to the info posted on this board that the WTS was originally financed by Bnai Brith and the Rothschilds using Russell as the front man. There seems to be a link here.

  I am assuming that Apltauer is a Bethelite from what the article states; and if so, I am further assuming that she is being sent to Columbia by the WBTS, so she can enter Law School once she graduates. I further wonder if she counts her "volunteer activities" as field service hours?

  She is a bethelite. I remember both her and her husband quite well. Her husband taught the new boys how to brush their teeth and floss during orientation when I was there. No kidding. They really have a separate orientation for this.

  here's my situation.. i was raised in an extremely conservative jw family and have been one my whole life.

  i have completely stopped going to meetings several months ago.

  it has been a gradual fade for the past couple of years but all my wt activities have come to a grinding halt at this time as i no longer believe any of the things that were taught thanks to research that i have done on the org.

  I appreciate everyone's input. Coming out of the closet for me is not an 'if' but 'when'. My gut feeling is now is not the time. The after effects will be too great. I think that there will be a time when it would be appropriate to take that action. I don't know when, all I know is when not to. That would be now.

  It's quite an awkward situation to be in right now. It'll be tough biting my tongue when I visit them this winter.

  Here's my situation.

  I was raised in an extremely conservative JW family and have been one my whole life. I have completely stopped going to meetings several months ago. It has been a gradual fade for the past couple of years but all my WT activities have come to a grinding halt at this time as I no longer believe any of the things that were taught thanks to research that I have done on the org. and also thanks to all the info on this message board as well. It's hard for me to imagine that only a few years ago I was pioneering, giving public talks and was a respected member of the JW community as an ex-bethelite. The local JWs that I am acquainted with have no idea I have completely faded since I have told them I have moved and am attending a different congregation. My life has drastically improved in many ways since stopping these activities. The liberating feeling that comes from living guilt-free is hard to describe in words.

  My JW family has no idea as well. My mother is a wonderful person. She is one of the most kind, genuine, loving individuals that I know. However, she is severely indoctrinated with the JW doctrines. She's about as hard core as they come when it comes to this. She's one of those ppl that practically worships the organization. She has no idea that I have completely faded out. She lives in a different area so she is totally oblivious. She thinks I am still an active JW although she has figured out that I am not as "spiritual" as I once was and have expressed her concern. My dad is not as hard core tho.

  I'm at the point where I want to come clean and expose the things that I have found out to my family. However, I know it will completely devastate my mother. She'll think I have sold my soul to the devil. I would never want to do anything to hurt her in that way. At the same time, it burns me up inside to see my family being mislead in this way. I will need to come out one of these days, I know that. I am trying to find out the right time to do so where I can minimize the emotional turmoil that will inevitably result. Also, I would like to do it at a time where they might be able to comprehend and digest the information that I have accumulated about the WTS and see the vanity of it all.

  The WTS appears to be losing steam. I guess I am waiting for the time where it has lost enough steam where even thoroughly indoctrinated ppl like my mother will have to question the validity of the org in the back of her mind. I am counting the days.....

  I am interested in hearing what you have to say about when you think would be a good time to come out of the closet to put an end to this mindless charade.

  ok, so ive been reading this book called schildren of the matrix, which to be honest with you is alot of crock... except a few very thought provoking questions.... i have heard it said that the "founder" of jehovah's witnesses pastor c.t.

  russell was a member of the illuminati... this author says that originally the bible students were called the "mind-control sect" by charles taze russell himself... and that he was a member of the illuminati and this was a new way to control more minds and more of the world by the aforementioned group.... what do you think???.

  For ppl who are reading this, it is in reference to another thread where I criticized littletoe for indulging in Satanic works of literature by Blavatsky and Pike as a 'true Christian'.

  There is a slight difference between my source and the sources that you mentioned.

  Springmeier's material is designed to EXPOSE the occult practices and bloodline, Blavatsky and Pike's material is designed to PROMOTE occult practices.

  Just like this message board exposes the WT and the WT magazine promotes the WT. There is a slight difference between the reading of the two dont you think? If you're not sure... check with the elders.
